Stern Grove; Jasmine & Coral’s Stunning, Rustic Wedding

It's all full of love...Jasmine & Coral's wedding was held on one of San Francisco's most beautiful days at one of our most beautiful locations; Stern Grove.  They have worked tirelessly to create almost every detail and artistic aspect of their breath taking celebration and are blessed to have such dedicated friends and family surrounding and supporting them in every way.  I'm thrilled to have been a part of their merry matrimony and can't get enough of their awesome creativity! Yelapa, Mexico: La Bola de Chris y Laura

Imagine drifting to sleep and waking in the morning to the mesmerizing sound of waves crashing against the earth, imagine opening the glass-less windows to a front row view of lush mountains and deep blue water, imagine walking 30 seconds to the beach and when you arrive everyone you love is there.  Imagine that they have all gathered in this magical place to celebrate you and the love of your life and the beautiful journey you are promising to take with eachother.   Imagine that you know longer have to imagine. Chris & Laura's wedding was what everyone who ever says they want a beach wedding must be envisioning, not that I think I ever could've dreamed up something this beautiful.   It was three days of love, laughter, fiesta's, breath taking beaches, waterfalls, family, friends, rockin' music and of course Chris & Laura's stunning beach wedding.  I am so honored

  We are beyond excited to celebrate the beautiful union between Chris & Laura this coming Saturday in Yelapa, Mexico!   Of course it's almost 1 am and I'm still up and have at least another hour's worth of work todo, but it's all worth it because tomorrow morning Mike and are going to board a Virgin plane and by 5pm we should be enjoying the view from our hotel.  Then Thursday we will join the posse and spend the next five days loving life, with amazing friends and a fabulous beach wedding!!!  Stay tuned!! Abigail & Vicente are getting Married!!!

I've known Abby for over ten years (wow, it's been a long time since freshman year in high school!) and when she introduced me to  Vicente a few years ago I knew she had met her man.  Handsome, sarcastic, quick-witted, adventurous and most important madly in love with Abby.  I was elated when I found out they were engaged and over the moon when they asked me to be a part of what I know is going to be a breath taking celebration.  Vicente did it right, I hope your listening gentleman, because he proposed on a beach in Thailand!  Ladies can I get a unanimous "awwwwwwww"  Yes, they planned a 3 week adventure in Thailand and all the while he was carrying around her engagement ring and then popped the big one.  Amazing!  This is just one aspect of their love story that melts my heart! These two are hilarious

The Beautiful & Talented Maribel Villareal

Maribel is a beautiful and talented "Mariachita" or  Mariachera which as I just found out is the correct term.  She is based in San Jose and contacted me to do some fabulous "Rock Star" pics for her business.  I heard her sweet voice before I ever met her, when she sang a special song for Mike & Erika at their wedding this past September.  She had everyone in tears including myself (which made it a little hard to remember to capture the moments because I was enjoying them so much).   In the first image below, you can see that when she sang the world stood still. I was pleasantly surprised when I pulled up for our session and both of her parents got out of the car, shook my hand and chatted with me about how we wanted the session to go.  Her Dad stayed in the car close by and

Laura & Chris

These two are in love.  There is no better way to sum it up.  Pure, steamy, passionate, honest love.  They inspire people around them to be in love and if they already are, then they inspire them to be in love more.  She brings out the youthful, goofy, wild-child in him and he is her perfect balance .  They just get each other and they have chosen the perfect place to celebrate their amazing love, Yelapa, Mexico.  I am beyond ecstatic to be a part of their celebration when we join them, their family and their closest friends for an intimate ceremony on the beach. There are no cars in Yelapa and the only way to get there from Puerto Vallarta is via boat taxi.  While brainstorming wedding ideas with Justine and Laura last week, she showed us the accommodations, grass roof huts on the beach.  For real?!?  We are jumping

Liliana & Ryan’s beautiful Mexico wedding in Playa Del Carmen

Justine and I had the honor of shooting Lili & RyRy's intimate Playa Del Carmen wedding.  WOW!  Only their family an closest friends were there enjoying a four day event, rather than just one evening.  We laid on the beach, stayed up late drinking and ate our faces off.  Did I mention we stayed at the the Blue Bay Resort, an ALL inclusive hotel!  So much tequila ;) I always start a blog with the intention of only posting a select few favorites, but usually I end up posting way more and their wedding was no different.  Below is the story of Lili & Ryry's intimate, breathtaking and wild wedding!   I walked into their hotel room and this was the first thing I saw, it brought tears to my eyes and simultaneously made me laugh out load.  Lili said "RyRy you do my hair the best!!" All of Lili's gorgeous and sassy girlfriends!

Nina & Rodney’s wedding!!

Nina is one of Mike's closest friends and two weeks ago we had the honor of celebrating their love!  We had so much fun dancing, drinking, laughing, eating and enjoying amazing company.  As a result I took hecka pictures.  Enjoy! I caught the bouquet for the first time!  Woohooo! I can already hear the wedding bells.  Thank you Nina! Rodney's wandering hand ;) He is so handsome...I'm a lucky woman Dancing Machines!!! Pretty much sums us up... We found a young Mike!!!

We booked our flights!!! I can’t wait for Ryan & Lili’s Mexico wedding!!!

I had the sweet and exclusive honor of shooting Ryan and Liliana's "Secret Elopement" in San Francisco last May.  They have beautiful and intense love and found the stress of planning a wedding overwhelming and chose to elopement and seal their love, then take their time to plan a fabulous wedding in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico!!!!  Justine "Lady J" and I  just confirmed out plane tickets today and we'll be shooting this gorgeous wedding, exploring ruins, laying on the beach and enjoying our tans for Christmas!  I love what I do!!!! No big deal, but check these photos out!  This is going to be out of this world!!!  I promise to share oooodles of photos when we get back!!!!  Now I have to go workout!  14 days til bikini time!!!!
