Amanda and Aaron met working behind the scenes working on the set of a mutual friends film. Despite doing camerawork on their friend’s project, Amanda and Aarons love story sure feels like something you would see on screen. Having a San Francisco City Hall ceremony is timeless. Very much like the art of film and photography. 😉
The Essential San Francisco City Hall Wedding
Amanda’s family flew in from Toronto, fully excited for this day! The air was crisp, and the skies a little cloudy, but not too cold. The quintessential San Francisco fall day. Aarons family came in from Hayword, which feels as long as flying in from Canada with traffic. Gotta love the Bay area traffic!
Anyways, having a San Francisco City Hall wedding is always a beautiful choice as the building seems like it was built for occasions like this! With all the marble everywhere, vaulted ceilings, natural light, and timeless architecture. *Sigh*. It’s breathtaking! Aaron and Amanda’s ceremony filled the space with heartwarming sentiments and proclamations of love. There wasn’t a dry eye left!
I was living for their rich color pallet. Very fall festive with dark green, magenta, navy as the main color theme. I love this traditional fall combination interpreted for a modern wedding day look. Specifically, Amanda’s green wedding dress!
After that wonderful ceremony, everyone ventured to Hotel Zeppelin for dinner. Which, if you haven’t been you must go It’s MAGICAL! It’s my new favorite place. And set the perfect tone for their sweet little celebration. Everywhere you looked there is something amazing to look at.
Vendors Make All The Difference
Aaron and Amanda had some wonderful vendors that really made their big day special. Amanda had her chocolate flavors catered by CXBO in Toronto, as they made everything so easy. We like easy. Wedding days are stressful enough. Urban Botanica arranged the flowers and accommodated all requests so sweetly. Butter& designed the beautiful cake, and was amazing to work with. When vendors are awesome, it just makes all things so much easier on the big day!
