I love, love, love the ways in which I get to know my clients through the wedding process and to hear them describe their vision for the day. When I get the honor of capturing the celebration of a fellow wedding vendor, as I did with Margaux and Adam’s big day, I know I’m in for a big treat. 😉
Free Spirit Farm Wedding
Margaux and Adam created a beautiful reflection of their love and life together in their celebration… starting with their venue, the Free Spirit Farm. This place not only represents their spirits, but it is also where Adam gets much of his produce for his two amazing restaurants, Starbelly and Belga. The farm is truly beautiful and the light on their wedding day was divine!
An Extraordinary Intimate Event
Since Margaux is a planner and event designer, I knew that she would create a wedding experience and ambiance that would knock everyone’s socks off. My favorite details included the romantic location of the ceremony, tree lined and shaded, the simple white fabric intertwined on the chuppah blowing in the breeze, the moss runners on the family style tables, the cafe lights strung from the trees lighting up the late night dance party (let’s talk about those dance moves!), the stunning cake by Shaunie Briggs – seriously one of them most gorgeous cakes I’ve ever seen, the bouquets and flowers created by Margaux and her lovely ladies from Axelrod Events + Design full of vibrant, fresh pops of spring color, and the food… oh, the food! Chef Eric Ehler and his team did an extraordinary job — my mouth is watering just thinking about it!
Industry Soul Sisters
I was so excited when I met Margaux at an industry event at Presidio Social Club and even more excited when we discussed me shooting her wedding! After I spied on her website and stalked her Facebook page we came to realize we had many connections in common, including my bestie’s husband Joe Bagale (they grew up in the same East Coast town!) and one of my favorite bands, Hot Einstein (who rocked it all night long at their wedding)! When Margaux emailed me and asked to meet at Trick Dog for dinner so we could get to know each other, the only answer was of course, YES PLEASE! The three of us had a blast and by the end of dinner, felt like old friends!
Juicy Secrets!
As photographers we are often tasked with keeping big secrets and getting juicy information before the public does. These two were my second couple to tell me the happy news of their pregnancy before they shared the news with everyone – gotta love that! Since I met them, they’ve opened a new restaurant, bought a house, had an epic wedding (those two things within a week of each other), and are expecting Baby Boy Timney October 1st. What a year!!!
Kind Words from the Bride:
I met Chloe at an industry event for a Bridal Magazine and within moments I had made a new friend. She has a contagiously positive and outgoing energy that everyone is drawn to. I knew right away she was the perfect person to shoot our farm wedding. I had a hard time letting go of the reins the day of my wedding. Being an OCD event planner/designer planning my own wedding and on top of that almost 7 months pregnant I needed the calm, get it done, roll with it perspective that Chloe brings. She truly does wear many hats besides being an incredible photographer. Almost three weeks after our wedding I am getting phone calls from guests saying how much they loved our photographer. Chloe is one of a kind and our perfect wedding would not have been the same without her.
I am so damn happy for you, Mr. & Mrs. Timney, and can’t wait to meet the little man! Congratulations!!!
xoxo
