Prepare yourselves, because this couple is the sweetest and their Asian Art Museum wedding was simply amazing. Where to begin?

High School Sweethearts

Stephanie and Justin have known each other forever. Like, they met in elementary school and started dating in high school and have been together ever since. They even managed to keep the flame alive while attending different colleges! Their wedding was full of friends dating all the way back to childhood, which was super amazing.

They are sweet and tender with each other. You can see their love from the way they reach for each other’s hands, or how he gently kisses her forehead, or how they still make each other giggle like kids and blush with excitement. It’s like they were born to be together.

An Asian Art Museum Wedding

This was my first time shooting at the Asian Art Museum, and I know I say this a lot but it might just be my new favorite venue forever! The architecture is stunning – the ceremony took place on a beautiful staircase with family and friends watching from above. The lighting is amazing! And florals and decor were flawlessly done. The museum itself closes at 5 p.m., which allowed the vendors to get set up for a 6:30 wedding. Jill Kull of 2 the 9s Events had everything running smoothly in such a short time frame – kudos to her!

Lavender’s Blue

The wedding colors were blue, lavender and burgundy, which is a gorgeous combination. I loved the colors of the bridesmaids’ dresses from Azazie – and each woman had her own unique style! Continuing the theme, favors were delicious lavender macaroons (plus adorable little pictures of the couple telling guests which table to sit at). Drool!

Friends Forever

Stephanie and Justin’s wedding party was full of friends they had known forever – these are people who know the value of strong connections! It’s fun to hang out with a group of people who have those solid, long-term relationships. So much love to go around! Plus Stephanie’s cousin performed the ceremony and you know I always think that is so special. And the fun got kicked up to 11 when DJ E.T. Hazard of Verducci started spinning his tunes.

And They’re Off!

Stephanie and Justin headed to Japan for their honeymoon, where I’m sure they ate delicious food and adventured through the beautiful countryside in complete bliss.

Congratulations, you two! May you live long and love every step of the way.
