When You Know You’ve Found Your Mate
Natasha and Jullien were paired up on a dating app and swear that when they met, they both ‘just happened’ to delete the app because they were both over looking for other people. After a few exchanges back and forth they instantly clicked and Natasha decided to drive down to San Diego (where Jullien was living) to meet in person. They’ve been inseparable since! They are crazy obsessed with each other.
The Song of Life
Natasha loves photography, horseback riding, graphic design, playing guitar, piano, drums, bass, singing, and writing music and poems. Jullien cleans, fixes things, does arts and crafts, spends time with the animals (5 dogs, 1 cat, 32 birds and 2 rats) also writes poetry, loves chic-flics, stargazing, sunsets and long walks on the beach at night. Really, they are both into movies and music!
A Music Themed Sebastopol Wedding
Their wedding was, as you would expect, very romantic and tender. It was also quite personalized (which you know I LOVE)! They were married at Natasha’s family’s home. Think fountain, a curvy tree-lined driveway, indoor AND outdoor pools…
The thing that stood out the most about the ceremony was Natasha and Jullien’s choice of music (are you beginning to notice a theme here?). The flower girl walked down the aisle to “Halo” by Ane Brun feat. Linnea Olson. The brides entered to “Worthy of you Heart”, written & composed by Natasha Lahlouh & produced by John Lahlouh. They walked out to “Angels” by The XX (Kygo edit). Plus, while they said their vows and kissed the guests threw confetti!
The decor was perfect – red, black, silver and white. A personal touch, the centerpieces were designed by the brides themselves. A tall cylinder vase with white marbles at the bottom and one fake rose attached to the bottom, the whole vase filled with water (past the top of the rose) with a candle floating at the top of the vase. The vase sat on top of a circular mirror and there were 4 small candles in votives around the vase. Then there were red flower petals sprinkled around mixed with music sheet cutouts in the shape of hearts.
They started their very own tradition by putting all the songs from the wedding on an iPod. Every year on their anniversary they’ll add a new song! Like I said, you can tell they love music. 🙂
Treble & Bass, I could be happier for you, that you found each other, love each other hard and through all the trials and tribulations of this thing called life, your bond elevates and nurtures you. Congratulations! {Insert confetti here!}
